Today, we saw the first real test of prototype Nomade. It was successful and allowed us to discuss with the Engineers what we next need to do to enhance the steering, manage the speed better, incorporate the front wheels and the steering/ battery block more into the frame. This would give us a short base but maintain the centre of gravity which is key as the wheelchair and individual will be a reasonable level from the ground.
Our next test will be Monday or Tuesday 18/19th December when we will use a wheel chair and assess the frame and its length.
